About
Pimm’s entry into massage was by an unusual route. She discovered that her youngest son’s chronic illness was much improved by regular daily massage. Mother and son both enjoyed massage so much they decided they would begin to learn it formally that was in 2014. Pimm began to extend her range and techniques to include Thai Massage, Aromatherapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Cupping, Pregnancy Massage together with Hot Stone, Swedish, Toksen and Sport Massages.
In 2018 Pimm felt ready to travel to her first international competition, in Italy, where, competing against 80 professionals from all over the world, she won a silver medal in freestyle massage. In 2019 she encouraged her younger brother, Kit, to train with
her in preparation for the World Championship in Copenhagen. From the first, Kit showed natural talent and learned rapidly. Both did well in Copenhagen; a Silver Medal in Wellness Massage for Pimm and a Bronze for Kit in Chair Massage.
Very shortly after this, Kit went on to win Bronze Medals in Reflexology and Western Massage in another competition in Romania. In 2019 Pimm was invited to compete in Moldova where not only did she win her first Gold she was also declared Absolute Champion and received the Golden Hand and Superstar Nomination awards as well. Only four days later she was again in competition, winning Gold in Wellness Massage in the Ukraine and Silver in
Wellness in Romania.
At the present time, Pimm and Kit not only work in massage, they are also accredited trainers and assessors for the Fami Hair and Beauty Training Institute. In February of this year both were invited to be judges in massage competitions in Switzerland organized by Switzerland Spa Talent and Pimm was have visited Los Angeles to judge a massage competition there. Unfortunately, both events were cancelled
because of the Covid 19 outbreak. In 2020 Pimm was also invited to become an Ambassador and
Approved Judge for World Championship Massage
Competitions organized by IMA.
